Dubai Creative Clusters Authority (DCCA) Auditors : Audited Financial Statements (AFS) Filing Requirements

According to Regulations 63 – 68 of the New Regulations, both FZ-LLCs and Branch Offices must document their AFS (Audit Report) as a part of the License Renewal process. However, until recently the DCCA has not clarified or enforced the filing requirements in practice.

The DCCA has now cleared up that the Annual Finance Statement for Financial Year 2017 will not need to be filed as part of the Licence Renewal process in 2018 and that the requirement to file AFS will only come into effect from 2019 onwards. In this way, FZ-LLCs and Branch Offices enlisted in the DCCA will just need to submit AFS (Audit report) for the financial year 2018 at some point in 2019 (the correct date will rely upon the date of the License Renewal) .
